Proof links a crypto trader's wallet to their X account and shows the wallet's public on-chain record under their posts. This page says exactly what that involves. It describes what the code does today; if that changes, this page changes with it.
The Short Version
- A wallet is linked only when its owner signs a message and posts a code from their X account. Linking makes the handle, the wallet address and its trading record public on this site.
- Signing is not a transaction: Proof can never move funds, and never asks for a seed phrase.
- The extension reads crypto posts on your X timeline to draw lines under them. It never reads your DMs, your login or anything private.
- We do not sell data and there are no ads, cookies or trackers.
If You Link a Wallet
We store your X handle, X user id, display name and profile picture URL (as X shows them publicly), the wallet address, the message you signed and the verification code. We then read that wallet's trades on Robinhood Chain from public blockchain data and store them, with the record computed from them (PnL, win rate, calls). Coin posts you publish on X that the extension or this site come across are stored too: they are the calls on your record.
All of this is shown publicly: on your profile in the live check, on the leaderboard, and under your posts for everyone using the extension.
The Extension
It runs only on x.com and twitter.com and asks for one permission, storage, for its on/off setting. For posts that mention a $ticker or a contract it sends the post id, author handle, time and text to our API and gets a line back. Posts by accounts that have not linked a wallet are not stored.
This Website
Live check. Lookups are not logged with anything about who made them. Public X data is fetched through FxTwitter. Waitlist. If you leave your email we store it with the date, only to tell you when the extension reaches the Chrome Web Store. Cookies and tracking. None.
Who Else Handles It
Vercel hosts the site and the API. Neon hosts the database. Alchemy provides access to Robinhood Chain. FxTwitter returns public X posts and profiles. Market data and charts come from the Tell index. None of them receive anything private about you.
Removing Your Data
You can unlink your wallet at any time from the link page: the link, its trades, its record and its stored posts are deleted. To remove a waitlist email, or for any other request about your data, write to us at the address below.
